Where Can I Get Water Tested?
ByHere in La Casa de Don Marco, we’ve been testing out various water filter systems, as part of my due diligence on various business models and/or non-profit activities. Everything is working well and now I’m ready for a water test challenge, but I need a lab that can test the water not simply for the presence of bad stuff, but can measure parts per million as well.
I suspect I’ll need to go to the capital for this, and if anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it.

Just a suggestion, sometimes, places that sell water pumps, tanks, etc. can test your water for you. You could try some of the places in Antigua, before going into the city. Like I say, just a suggestion.

You could buy a reverse osmosis water maker for a boat. They come with a ppm tester. You would never have to worry about the quality of water again.

There´s a few private labs that do testing for the food industry who can test your water for microbiology, heavy metals, the works.
I´ve had this type of testing done by FQB Laboratorios (Tel: 2256-4117). They can go to the place where you need to take the sample, which is the best way to ensure that you have a representative sample that is not contaminated.
Inlasa (tel. 2476-0337) also gives good service.
I´d be glad to help out if you´d like. Just send me a message.
